William Carey_Candle in the Dark
William Carey was the great missionary, he
went to India for spread the gospel with his family.
There’s a lot of difficult, especially he
didn’t have much money.
So he and his family moved here and there. The
environments was not good, the biggest problem was financial difficulties.
In addition, Carey had lamented in India
looking at the wrong customs.
India people didn’t like his preaching and
God’s gospel.
His son died, his wife went crazy, she was
nearly killed him with a knife.
And then, eventually she died, he was
married with another woman.
He has translated Bible for the India’s
people, unfortunately, the fire swallowed up everything his data.
But he tried again to translate bible for
them and God’s glory.
