Universality of Sin
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (Romans 5:19)
Paul’s assertion that many were made sinners through the disobedience of Adam,
interprets the passage to mean that all are made liable to punishment and death.
The idea transmitted to guilt ,a central feature of Augustine’s doctrine original sin.
